Sandra on Lunar Poetry Podcasts
Sandra is co-editor, with Khairani Barokka and Daniel Sluman, of the anthology, Stairs and Whispers: D/deaf and Disabled Poets Write Back (Nine Arches, 2017). Comma Press recently published Sandra's short stories in two anthologies, Thought X: Fictions and Hypotheticals and Protest! Stories of Resistance. Sandra's live short story with film, Equivalence, was featured on the big screen/stage at Edinburgh Filmhouse in November 2017.
Besides writing stories and poetry, Sandra directs short documentaries and experimental poetry films. In 2016-17, Sandra was commissioned to co-create five new short documentaries and a curated playlist as part of Disability Arts Online's Viewfinder project, in collaboration with Lisa Mattocks and SICK! Festival. She also co-made four short films (three in BSL) with Ania Urbanowska.

2. Sandra and Leone Ross were commissioned by British Council to write stories. Illustrated; translated to Turkish.
BFI Flare programme forthcoming!
Sandra has curated Flare's first widely-accessible programme, featuring films by LGBTQ+ disabled, neurodiverse, chronically ill and/or D/deaf artists.
